Surprising comfort on a budget

The location was super convenient, right in front of a grocery store, making it easy to stock up on snacks. Our one-bedroom suite was modern, clean, and had a delightful shower that felt like a spa!

While everything was lovely, there were no basic amenities like paper towels or tissues, which required a quick trip back to the grocery store. Slightly inconvenient when you're settling in.

Absolutely loved the location of Matamata Central Motel. It’s conveniently across from a supermarket, making it easy to stock up on snacks. The one-bedroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchenette that made preparing meals a breeze. I particularly appreciated the shower pressure. it was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful, even offering information about the comfortable mattress brand. However, I noticed the absence of paper towels, napkins, or tissues, which was a bit inconvenient and required a trip to the grocery store. Overall, the cleanliness and attention to detail made my stay enjoyable, but a few small amenities could enhance the experience significantly.

I had a delightful stay at Matamata Central Motel. The warm hospitality from Hilary and Wayne made me feel at home, and the well-appointed room was spacious and clean. It was conveniently located near dining options and only a short drive to Hobbiton.

Clean room, comfortable bed, the kitchenette was well equipped with cookware and utensils, useful for preparing our own meals, and the shower had excellent pressure, making our stay quite enjoyable.

We enjoyed our stay in the spacious family apartment, especially the lovely outdoor area, where we relaxed while the kids played. The check-in was smooth, and we loved how bright and clean everything was. Can't forget to mention the proximity to Swim Zone Matamata for a fun day out!

My wife says that a small play area would be great for children.
